Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment
Boost eLearning is committed to making its website and LMS platform accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA and to meet the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and equivalent accessibility laws in other jurisdictions. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time project, and we continually work to improve the experience for every learner.
Accessibility Features
The following measures are in place across our website and LMS:
Structure and Navigation
- Semantic HTML headings: pages use a logical heading hierarchy (H1–H3) to allow screen reader users to navigate efficiently by heading structure
- Keyboard navigation: all interactive elements—links, buttons, forms, navigation menus, modal dialogs, and course player controls—are fully operable using a keyboard alone, without requiring a mouse
- Visible focus indicators: focus rings are clearly visible on all interactive elements, meeting WCAG 2.1 AA contrast requirements, so keyboard-only users can always identify where focus is
- Skip navigation links: a “Skip to main content” link is present at the top of every page to allow keyboard and screen reader users to bypass repetitive navigation
Visual Design
- Color contrast: text and interactive UI elements meet or exceed the WCAG 2.1 AA minimum contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text and UI components)
- Text resizing: all text can be resized up to 200% using browser controls without loss of content or functionality
- No information conveyed by color alone: status indicators, form validation messages, and other informational elements use text labels, icons, or patterns in addition to color
Images and Media
- Alternative text: all meaningful images include descriptive alt text; decorative images are marked with empty alt attributes so screen readers skip them
- Captions and transcripts: all instructional videos include synchronized closed captions, and transcripts are available for download where technically feasible
- No autoplay: audio and video content does not play automatically; where media controls are present, they are keyboard-accessible and clearly labeled
Forms and Interactions
- Labeled form fields: every form input has a programmatically associated label; placeholder text is supplemented, not replaced, by proper labels
- ARIA landmarks and roles: we use ARIA attributes to communicate the role and state of dynamic content (e.g., modal dialogs, expandable sections, course progress indicators) to assistive technologies
- Error identification: form validation errors are described in text and associated with the relevant field, meeting WCAG 3.3.1 and 3.3.3
- Session timeout warnings: where sessions expire, users receive advance notice and an opportunity to extend their session
Enterprise Procurement
Enterprise customers and procurement teams may request an Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR) based on the Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT®) for our LMS platform. Contact our sales team or email [email protected] to request the current VPAT.
Known Limitations and Ongoing Work
While we strive for full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance, some areas are still being improved:
- A small number of legacy course modules produced before 2024 contain video content with captions of varying quality; we are systematically reviewing and re-captioning these modules
- Third-party interactive lab environments are hosted by external vendors; we work with those vendors to improve accessibility but cannot guarantee their full WCAG compliance at this time
- PDF course materials are being progressively updated to tagged PDF format to improve screen reader compatibility
How to Report an Accessibility Barrier
We want to hear about accessibility barriers on our site or in our courses. If you encounter a problem that prevents you from accessing content or completing a task, please contact us:
- Email: [email protected]
- Response time: we aim to respond to accessibility reports within 3 business days and to resolve confirmed barriers within 30 days for critical issues
Please describe the barrier you encountered, the page or feature involved, the assistive technology and browser you are using, and any steps that might help us reproduce the issue.
Formal Complaints
If you are not satisfied with our response to an accessibility complaint, you may escalate by contacting our general support team and requesting formal escalation. You also have the right to contact your country’s relevant regulatory body or civil rights authority.
